Words for Living

"I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, and for this reason I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power."
Ephesians 1:15-19

A personal invitation from Reverend Jill

Rev. Jill Hedlund Kitsko Pastor
Welcome to the cyber-home of Oak Tree Presbyterian Church. We hope that this site will help you learn about who we are as a community of faith, and give you some spiritual help for your journey! You are welcome here, just as you are welcome in our worship and in all of the life of our little church family.

Oak Tree Church is a supportive community of faith, a place where you will find a warm welcome and, we hope, some help with your life and faith journey. This is a place where you can come to draw near to God, where you can find support for your struggles, prayer in time of need and opportunities to study God's word together.

You will find a gathering of people who are glad you came, a place where you are known and loved just the way you are, and where you will find help in your Christian walk. People will know your name at Oak Tree Church!

We are a congregation of the Presbyterian tradition, which means we are reformed and biblical, yet welcoming and open. We are a people who believe that our faith calls us to share God's love with our world. We believe that all people are beloved by God and all are welcome in our worship and fellowship.

Why not join us one Sunday for worship at 10 AM or for Sunday School at the same time? Or perhaps you would like to start with a weekly study of God's Word? We hope to see you soon!

Grace and peace to you and yours,

Rev. Jill Kitsko

Oak Tree Mission Statement

We are the people of the Oak Tree Presbyterian Church, called by God and gathered as a community of faith, who demonstrate care and concern for each other and serve as a visible fellowship for the worship of God in the Reformed tradition of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A.

We believe that we encounter God in all that we are and in all that we do. We believe that God calls each member to ministry and service as we collectively make up the Body of Christ as the Oak Tree Church.

We have a strong commitment to outreach in our diverse community. We are challenged to communicate and share the teachings of Jesus Christ by spreading the Good News of God's love into the community through word and deed.

Our faith is based on the spirit and teachings of God that connect us with others through evangelism, education and fellowship. We celebrate his love and teachings in worship and in our daily lives.

We remain committed to "growing together in Christ and serving our community".
